Press Release " Kenya Kingdom Soccer Project" Thanks!!!!

Harvest8 Sports Group Inc, Also Known as Kingdom Soccer Project had the opportunity to provide two schools in Kenya with sports equipment, training, and curriculum.

Our Local Non Profit Organization partnered with One Child Matters, CrossRoads Fellowship Church, JC Sports Atascocita,  Bownet Sports and several local Business and families in order to raise the needed funds to make this project a reality.

Kingdom Soccer Project has been working hard to make this endeavor a reality. In June they were able to send two Coaches to villages in Kajiado, Kenya to donate the soccer equipment and train the staff of 12 teachers.

Jennifer and Cesar Coronel, Directors for Kingdom Soccer Project shared with us that "we love to challenge our community and see what we are able to accomplish when we partnered together. Last Year, we were able to bless a school in the mountains of Haiti and as a result the school was able to create a full time PE position for a teacher."

This Year, our goal was to do the same for two schools in Kenya and we were beyond blessed to be able to do so.

One of the challenges we faced was fundraising, the total cost for equipment and the trip was well over $12,000. We did not know if we were going to be able to fundraise such a large amount.

The amazing thing was to see a lot of our local families and businesses  donating to our cause. One week, before our trip we had achieved our goal.

Harvest8 Sports Group Inc and JC Sports are well known in our community for their philanthropic work. Last year they donated over $10,000 in Sports Equipment to Humble ISD Title One schools in partnership with the Houston Dynamo and the BBVA Compass.

We are proud of our giving and our community support- Jennifer and Cesar Coronel-shared with us- We truly believe that we are called to help our community and our brothers and sisters in need and it is an honor to serve them.

We are Heading to Kenya!! Pray for us

JC Sports Family members and friends, We wanted to take a moment and thank everyone for your support during our fundraising efforts for our Kenya Kingdom Soccer Project. Together we were able to raise a Total $12130.
Coach Carter and myself are departing to Kenya tomorrow and we will be there for ten days. During that time we will be  training staff, setting up a soccer field, and providing all the equipment to establish an organized soccer program.
We would like to ask you for one more favor, please pray for Coach Carter and myself as we head to Africa and do this work, pray for our family that are staying behind as we are away. Lastly, please pray that the seeds that are sewn in Kenya become fruitful and reach many to the Kingdom of God.
I leave you with some of our Pictures from our 2016 Kingdom Soccer Project in Haiti. I can't wait to share pictures from our Kenya trip.
Talk to you soon.

Press Release

JC Sports Indoor Center in partnership with Harvest8 Sports Group, also known as " Kingdom Soccer Project," provided a donation of new sports equipment and $1000 for the PE Budget for a local HISD School. North Belt Elementary at Fall Creek was visited by Jennifer and Cesar Coronel on August 15th 2016. Jennifer and Cesar are the owners of JC Sports Houston in Atascocita. They both partnered with Kingdom Soccer Project for a couple of months and started collecting sports equipment for North Belt Elementary. They also hosted a fundraising event at the Fall Creek Sports complex over the summer in partnership with Chick-Fil-A.
Jennifer and Cesar provided the following to the School:
20 Soccer Balls
8 Soccer goals
Soccer Pinnies
Whistles
Basketballs
2 Buckets of baseballs
Baseball Gloves
2 Volleyball Standards
$1000 Donation to be allocated on the PE Budget for the school
"We are so happy that we get to bless our neighbors" Jennifer Says. "We want to believe that we are more than a business providing sports classes and leagues. We got to bless a school in Haiti last February 2016 and set up a soccer field in the mountains there, and now it was time to bless our own neighborhood", she added
"We met with PE Coach Justin at NB Elementary before summer and his story captivated me. The children have asked him to play volleyball but the volleyball Standard/netting is so expensive. We have volleyballs, but we do not have the stand and nettings." Cesar Coronel shared with us.
"I went home, I checked online, and I realized that the stands were about $1k for the set." "Since then, we worked hard to make sure that we could acquire that desperately needed equipment for the school. " We not only acquired the set, but we were able to donate an additional $1000 for them to buy additional equipment."
"The best part was praying for the new school year with Coach Justin and the Assistant Principal. We love being a part of this community and partnering with schools and daycares that are educating the next generation" Jennifer and Cesar shared with us.
